ST. PAUL — Rep. Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., characterized the new Republican Party platform as “the people’s platform” and “an American platform” for the 21st century while detailing its provisions on the first day of the GOP convention here.
“It’s half as wordy but twice as bold,” he said.

I am sorry, but this is a joke. United behind McAmnesty, give me a break. I have voted a straight republican ticket for 35 years, and will not vote republican again until the rule of law and our constitution is adhered to and not interpreted to be anything you want it to be to serve your lobbyists.
The democrats can do that because we expect nothing less from them. A real platform would declare that you are going to return America to Americans, that English is going to be made our national language, that our laws will be enforced and those that don’t enforce them will be punished. That organizations like the ACLU which is just an liberal think tank with law as their tool to force people to go against the law from fear of a lawsuit from getting any funding from the people. If you talked to people across this country you listened to no one.
