The Ron Paul Phenomenon Hits Google

July 17, 2007, 7:03pm

The one-on-computer interview that Steve Grove of YouTube hosted with Rep. Ron Paul last week was just one part of Paul’s appearance at Google’s Silicon Valley campus. The full interview is now available at YouTube.

Paul, R-Texas, was the fifth presidential candidate to appear at Google since February. The others were: Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y.; Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.; Gov. Bill Richardson, D-N.M. I missed the interview with Democrat John Edwards while I was on vacation. Here it is:

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg also visited Google right after abandoning the Republican Party in June. He spoke as part of the “Authors@Google” series of lectures rather than the “Candidates@Google” series, but some political observers consider him a potential indepedent (and self-financed) candidate for president in 2008.
