Maine Senate: Tom Allen vs. Susan Collins
May 15, 2007, 5:25pm
Democratic Rep. Tom Allen announced that he will try to unseat Republican Sen. Susan Collins in Maine next year:
UPDATE: The National Republican Senatorial Committee has responded with an ad that picks apart Allen’s House voting record and concludes, “Maine can certainly do better than Tom Allen.”
(Hat tip to Rob Bluey of the Heritage Foundation, who also criticized Allen’s ad.)

Susan Collins said she would only run for two terms. Was this her first official public lie to the people of Maine? Yes it was! Collins is a jackboot licking Bush supporter. She’s voted for the Iraq occupation, Patriot Act, the Military Commissions Act, Bush’s tax cuts, permanently repealing the Estate Tax, (a lot more than this she’s voted for too!), and she and Joe Lieberman refused to subpoena George Bush and his White House after Katrina for fear that it might upset him or make him look bad. She’s a Bush Enabler. The End.
Mainers can do better than Susan Collins. She knows that too. Her record will speak for itself and she won’t be able to hide from it either.

Good luck with your campaign and eliminating these so called Republican ‘independent’ Senators who have only supported the Bush administrations’ madness in the war, and ruining our economy.
thanks for running,

I met with Susan Collins personally in her Washington, DC office, asking for her to help me help my friend who is a poor man of color from St. Lucia. She flatly refused to help me to help him be vindicated of a “green card” fraud alledgedly perpetrated by a greedy employer. He is now stuck in “immigration limbo” and seperated from the United States where he was made to believe he had become a legal Resident Alien on his way to his dream toward U.S. citizenship.
She showed no compassion, when I had been told by a source from Homeland Security, that I needed her help to solve his problem. He has become despondent and I blame her callous regard and motivated only by her ambition to run for a third term, which she pledged she would not. We do not need such an unsympathetic person for Maine.

Tom,
We want to help you get elected in any way we can. Susan has stood for everything we are against. We need you in the Senate.
Sincerely,

Dear Tom,
You have to unseat this woman. The Senate Bill S 1959, which is part of the means of enslavement of the people of the United States, needs to be defeated. Please do so! For the whole of the country.
Sincerely,
James Richardson
